Acadia is a sophisticated, elegant, chef driven concept in Chicago’s South Loop. With a limited budget, the need to be innovative with the design was imperative. A refined and spare design worked well to feature the artful cuisine without negatively impacting the budget. Custom, hand finished maple table tops, a neutral palette with hints of sage and chocolate and a sumptuous chenille banquette create quiet warmth and richness. The installation of a sweeping nickel bead curtain suspended above the oversized millwork cabinet serves as a room divider as well as prominent design feature.
